The estate's “atypical” or rather “authentic” cuvée. It is made from Pinot Meunier grapes and vinified in Champagne oak barrels.
A low-bodied, complex and powerful Extra-Brut (3 g/L) champagne, made for your finest tastings.
A champagne with a strong temperament.
Laure and Mathieu deliver a little aromatic bomb with this 100% Pinot Meunier blanc de noirs.
No malolactic fermentation to preserve the noble acidity of the grapes, and a passage in oak barrels for alcoholic fermentation and 3 years of ageing.
Unsurprisingly, it's a champagne of great complexity that you find once served. Stewed yellow fruit, lightly woody notes, vanilla and sweet spices are all present.
A gourmet champagne without being too heavy, complex without being elitist.
A pure delight that will accompany you from aperitif to dessert.
Aspect: Golden yellow due to its age and time in barrel. Fine bubbles with a persistent string.
Nose: Stewed yellow fruit, lightly woody notes, vanilla and sweet spices.
Palate: At first, the warmth of the wood comes through, followed by notes of yellow fruit, mirabelle plums and apricots. Remarkably long, full and warm on the palate.
