Loches sur Ource - Côte des Bar

Champagne Poinsot Freres

What stands out at Poinsot Frères is not only the wine. It is the moment when a family story spanning several generations is gently changing its face.

In Loches-sur-Ource, Laura Poinsot is preparing the next chapter with an approach that is both modern and deeply respectful of the heritage she has inherited.

A family estate from the Côte des Bar that moves forward with its time, without ever losing touch with its roots.

The Day a Family Story Becomes a Story of Legacy

All family estates speak of transmission.

At Poinsot Frères, it is evident everywhere. In the plots passed down from generation to generation. In the skills learned in the field. In the desire to leave a slightly stronger estate to the next generation than the one received.

From great-grandfather René to Laura today, the estate has been built this way: slowly, patiently, without shortcuts.

Return to Where It All Began

After several years away from Champagne, between studies, marketing, and experiences abroad, Laura Poinsot chose to return to Loches-sur-Ource in 2015.

This return is not just that of a future successor. It is also that of a woman choosing to continue a family legacy while bringing her own vision.

A discreet yet significant evolution for this house where the legacy is now written in the feminine.

A Certain Idea of Grower Champagne

The estate cultivates its vines with a sustainable approach, paying special attention to biodiversity and the environment. The wines then take their time to age extensively in the cellar, allowing their character to develop.

This philosophy is reflected in the bottles: balanced, generous, and approachable Champagnes that prioritize harmony over showmanship.

Wines that ultimately resemble the family who produces them: sincere, patient, and deeply connected to their terroir.
