Mareuil-le-Port - Vallée de la Marne

Champagne Mulette Corbon

Established in 1992, Mulette Corbon champagne is a fine example of the expertise of the independent winegrowers of the Marne Valley. Mulette Corbon Champagne is more than a commercial brand, it is above all the result of the work and passion of 3 generations of winegrowers for their craft and their land.
Géraldine and Élodie, the daughters of the family, are now in charge of the property. They have been leading this 100% women-owned estate, from the cellars to the oenologist, creating the perfect conditions to mature the great champagnes of the Marne Valley.

Champagne and the Mulette Corbon family: a not-so-recent story

Like many Champagne families, the history of Mulette Corbon is closely linked to the production of this characteristic sparkling wine. Three generations ago, Mulette Corbon champagne did not exist, and the family's winegrowers independently cultivated their acres of vines before reselling the fruit to the major Champagne houses. It was during these long decades that the know-how and intimate knowledge of the vineyard were forged that characterize Mulette Corbon champagne today. It was not until 1992, and after many years of reflection, that the parents of the current winegrowers embarked on the adventure of production.

The Mulette Corbon touch

Far from being improvised, such a change led to a revolution within the family farm: creation of a vat room, refined selection of grape varieties and fruits, but above all work in the vat room amounting to thousands of hours in order to find a perfect balance. More than thirty years later, Mulette Corbon champagnes are still marked today by this rigorous and in-depth work which marks the bouquet of each of the vintages produced at the estate.

True independent winegrowers of Champagne, the Mulette Corbon make it a point of honor to design their champagnes from start to finish, from working in the vines to working in the cellar to bottling. The result is blended and blanc de noirs champagnes characteristic of the Marne Valley and with very great aromatic intensity.

A feminine champagne

When their parents retired, it was Géraldine and Élodie who took over the family business, bringing a breath of fresh air to the entire estate. As evidenced by their emblematic vintage “Mademoiselle M”, a real nod to 100% feminine design and creation.
