Champagne Gaston Collard - 2018 White Bouzy
This Bouzy champagne coteau is a fresh and elegant wine.
The Bouzy village is renowned as one of the terroirs producing some of the most beautiful coteaux in Champagne.
It is made of Chardonnays from two parcels, called "Julienne" and "Grand Bacot". It has been vinified in oak barrels previously used in the famous estates of Chassagne and Chablis. This Champagne coteau has therefore benefited from vinification in barrels impregnated with high quality wines.
It then benefited from a long ageing period of 36 months.
This wine is neither fined nor filtered. It is therefore a wine with a 100% natural colour.
This white coteau is a wine that will surprise you! It develops buttery and brioche aromas, almost milky.
Champagne coteau wines are very rare in Champagne and are only made in the greatest years.
Cyril Collard has only produced 200 bottles of this coteau.
A very rare wine with a tremendous quality!
Aspect: very present secondary aromas.
Nose: amber yellow.
Palate: uttery, brioche and milky notes.
