The 2019 vintage is remembered in Champagne as a year of character, marked by remarkable ripeness and excellent grape concentration. After a contrasting growing season, punctuated by periods of heat and a particularly sunny summer, the harvest delivered healthy, rich and balanced fruit with impressive aromatic intensity. A vintage defined by maturity and precision, especially favourable to black grape varieties and gastronomic Champagnes.

It is in this context that La Meule 2019 was born, made exclusively from Pinot Noir grown on a single parcel in Bouzy, an emblematic Grand Cru terroir of the Montagne de Reims.

Aged for five years in the cellar, this Extra-Brut Champagne reveals a broad and profound profile, driven by expressive aromas of ripe fruit, dried fruit, sweet spices and a subtle patinated note. The palate is generous, structured and elegant, supported by beautiful freshness and remarkable persistence.
