2003: a warm and intense vintage, now fully open and delicious.

An extraordinary and generous vintage.
2003 is remembered as a year of extreme heat across France. In Champagne, the historic heatwave led to rapid ripening and low acidity, producing rich and expressive grapes.
In Bouzy, on the sun-exposed south-facing slopes of the Montagne de Reims, this resulted in a full-bodied and warm champagne, with notes of dried fruits, toasted bread, and liquorice. The bubbles are melted, the texture is smooth and rounded. This vintage stands out for its generosity, roundness, and immediate pleasure.

The Âge d’Or Collection: a reading of time.
This unique collection offers the chance to compare the same cuvée (50% Pinot Noir, 50% Chardonnay – Bouzy Grand Cru), made the same way every year. Vinified in stainless steel and aged for at least 10 years on lees, it is only released when perfectly matured.
A rare approach in Champagne: here, only the vintage changes. Each bottle reflects the climate, the terroir, and the winemaker’s interpretation.
Produced in small quantities from the Grand Cru of Bouzy, this champagne embodies the living memory of a unique terroir and the know-how passed down through three generations of the Henry family.

Presented in magnum, the reference format for ageing great champagnes, this 2003 gains depth, texture and balance over time.
