A generous and accomplished Chardonnay from the Côte des Bar, driven by the maturity of the 2011 vintage.

This Côte des Bar Chardonnay Vintage 2011 by Louise Brison comes from a single harvest, grown on Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils at 320 metres altitude, with a south / south-east exposure. A location that naturally favours grape ripeness and produces wines that are broader and more expressive than in other parts of Champagne.

The 2011 year was early and marked by a challenging harvest, requiring precision and discipline. The estate chose to let time do its work: partial malolactic fermentation and eight months of ageing in oak barrels helped round out the wine and reveal its gourmand character, without masking the identity of the Chardonnay.

Today, this Champagne has reached maturity. With Brut dosage, it offers a generous and accessible interpretation of the vintage, with a confident style that is warmer than tense. It is a Champagne for immediate pleasure, ideal for those seeking an expressive Blanc de Blancs already ready to drink.

A cuvée best enjoyed at the table, alongside comforting or lightly creamy dishes, but also perfect for a gourmet aperitif.
