A very difficult vintage, revealed with nuance and precision.

2010 was one of the most complicated vintages of the decade in Champagne, marked by unstable weather and persistent summer rains. Many producers chose not to declare the vintage, but Louise Brison took a different path, selecting only the finest parcels and allowing time to bring out their best.

This traditional 50/50 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir strikes a refined balance between texture and tension. The Pinot Noir adds depth and body, while the Chardonnay brings definition and freshness. Grown on the clay-limestone slopes of Noé-les-Mallets with south/southeast exposure, the grapes benefit from slow, even ripening.

Fermented and aged for 9 months in oak barrels, with partial malolactic fermentation, the wine then matured for years in bottle, with zero dosage. The result is a champagne that feels airy, floral, and precise, marked by a refreshing purity, all the more impressive given the difficult growing season.

A subtle, honest champagne that proves a great wine can emerge from a modest year, when patience and precision prevail.
