A sunny vintage that has kept all its freshness!

2009 is considered one of Champagne’s great vintages: generous, ripe and remarkably balanced. Thanks to optimal ripeness and well-preserved natural acidity, it has produced wines that are both powerful and age-worthy.

À l’Aube 2009 captures this balance perfectly. It combines equal parts Pinot Noir, for its rich texture, and Chardonnay, for its finesse and lift. The grapes come from south/southeast-facing slopes in Noé-les-Mallets, at 320 m altitude, rooted in deep clay-limestone soils that bring both roundness and a mineral edge.

Fermented and aged 9 months in oak barrels, with no malolactic fermentation, this wine retains its vibrant freshness while developing texture and complexity. The zero dosage keeps the profile clean, focused and true to the vintage.

On the palate, it’s broad and ripe, but always balanced. Flavors of yellow stone fruit, gentle vanilla, and a long finish of apricot kernel. A champagne of fullness and depth, crafted for those who enjoy precision and maturity.
