A challenging vintage that has revealed itself over the years.

This 2007 Chardonnay reflects Louise Brison’s commitment to letting every vintage speak for itself, even the quieter ones. Far from the spotlight of grand vintages, 2007 offered fragile balance and subtle complexity for those who had the patience and precision to guide it.

Sourced from old vines on south and southeast-facing slopes at 320 m altitude, the wine is rooted in the clay-limestone soils typical of the Côte des Bar. This terroir, known for its depth and mineral tension, gives rise to a Chardonnay with mature fruit held in check by an underlying freshness, a wine that draws its energy from the soil itself.

Aged for 8 months in oak barrels with partial malolactic fermentation, this champagne was then left to mature slowly in bottle before being released as an extra brut. The low dosage enhances the wine’s natural balance and purity, offering a textured yet vibrant mouthfeel.

The result: a mature but fresh champagne, where oak and minerality come together in harmony. A refined Blanc de Blancs, ideal for lovers of understated depth and timeless elegance.
