A great wine without artifice, born from an exceptional vintage.

The 2002 vintage left its mark on Champagne. After an uneven summer, a miraculous September brought perfectly ripe, healthy grapes with ideal sugar and acidity levels. A vintage unanimously praised for its consistency and aging potential.

As always at Louise Brison, only grapes from the harvest year are used. The 50/50 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, grown on the Kimmeridgian clay-limestone slopes of Noé-les-Mallets, gives the wine both structure and depth.

Aged for 8 months in oak barrels without filtration, the wine benefits from gentle oxygen exposure that enhances aromatic refinement. Partial malolactic fermentation maintains tension, while the absence of dosage (Brut Nature) sharpens the wine’s mineral texture and freshness.

After more than twenty years of aging in the cellar, this cuvée impresses with its structure, complexity, and energy. A rare Champagne to serve on special occasions, or to set aside for a few more years of patient cellaring.
