A Coteaux Champenois Grand Cru at the crossroads of power and finesse, carried by a ripe fruit with elegance.

The Star of Saint Basle is a still red wine from a single parcel of Pinot Noir planted in 1965, at the heart of the Grand Cru terroir of Verzy. Situated on soils combining red clay and belemnite chalk, this old vine produces a unique wine, both generous and precise.

The 2022 vintage, sunny and balanced, allowed for excellent grape maturity. The 19-month aging in oak barrels, on fine lees, enhances the wine's complexity while preserving its identity.

The tannic structure is silky and well-established, with a harmonious finish that is both fruity, saline, and persistent. Decant a few minutes before tasting.

Champagne Vignon

Stéphane Vignon is like an alien in a region that produces champagnes that are the exact opposite of his range!

This family-run house, located in Verzenay, produces rare champagnes, vinified only in parcels, all in Grand Cru, dosed in extra brut and vintage.
The wines of the house are quite simply authentic: mostly worked in barrels, with natural yeasts, without fining or filtration, and chaptalization, if nature allows it, is not sought after.

The Vignon house is a straightforward, terroir-based champagne for all lovers of gastronomy!
