This Blanc de Noirs "Les Espérances" Grand Cru vintage 2022 is a powerful and complex champagne.

It originates from an old Pinot Noir vineyard planted in 1960-1961 on belemnite chalk. This champagne is crafted using natural yeasts and matured in oak barrels from Verzenay.
It is aged in the purest Champagne tradition for nine months with lees stirring, without fining, filtration, malolactic fermentation, or cold stabilization.

The result is a powerful and astonishing champagne.
A true tasting wine, it is savoured slowly. The aromas of this champagne reveal themselves gradually with changes in temperature and the oxygenation of the champagne. The finish offers aromas of surprising complexity.

Stéphane Vignon is like an alien in a region that produces champagnes that are the exact opposite of his range!

This family-run house, located in Verzenay, produces rare champagnes, vinified only in parcels, all in Grand Cru, dosed in extra brut and vintage.

 
The wines of the house are quite simply authentic: mostly worked in barrels, with natural yeasts, without fining or filtration, and chaptalization, if nature allows it, is not sought after.

The Vignon house is a straightforward, terroir-based champagne for all lovers of gastronomy!
