Les Côtes aux Vents is a Champagne of strong personality, made from a single mid-slope plot in Cuis, a Premier Cru village in the Côte des Blancs. The old vine planted in 1951 naturally gives low yields, but highly concentrated and stable fruit - ideal for a great cuvée.

Unlike younger Chardonnay, which is often more vivid and airy, this old vine develops denser juice, perfectly suited for oak aging without losing freshness. The wine is entirely vinified in Burgundian oak barrels, and finished with a low Extra Brut dosage of 2 g/L.

The terroir of Cuis, known for crisp and chalky Chardonnay, shows a deeper profile here: the sunny 2019 vintage, combined with precise barrel aging, brings a wine that’s generous, brioche-like and mineral, with a tense and mouth-watering finish. A confidential cuvée, made for the table.
