Arthémise is a unique cuvée in the Michel Henriet range. It bears the name of the ancestor who founded the house and draws its identity from the oldest family vines located in Verzenay, at the heart of the Grand Cru.

Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this wine comes exclusively from the 2018 harvest, a generous vintage, perfectly ripe, but deliberately not mentioned on the label. This choice reflects the spirit of the house: prioritizing the intention and balance of the wine over the label.

The cuvée is vinified as Brut Nature, with no added sugar. A demanding stance that gives full prominence to the fruit, the terroir, and the winemaker's touch. The result is a straight, dense, expressive champagne that embraces its substance without falling into opulence.

The nose evokes dried apricot, candied strawberry, rose petals, and a hint of sugarcane. On the palate, there are ripe citrus fruits, a lively tension, and a long finish carried by a fine peppery note. It is a champagne designed for dishes, roasted meats, powerful juices, and citrus sauces. A wine for pairing, more than a wine for the moment.
