Making a rosé in Verzenay, a land of Pinot Noir par excellence, was almost a given. Here, the red wine used for blending is a true Coteau Champenois, which brings color, substance, and structure to the whole.

The result is a characterful rosé, far from light and fruity profiles. The deep salmon color indicates a certain power. On the nose, one dives into a world of spices, licorice, dry wood, and resin. The palate is broad, flavorful, almost tannic in texture, with a lively and persistent finish, highlighted by notes of green pepper and pine bark.
