2015 was one of the most beautiful vintage years for Champagne and for Pascal Mazet who produced his second organic vintage champagne.
Fewer bunches of grapes and plenty of sun during this harvest year were indicative of extraordinary aromatic concentration, leading some oenologists to compare it with the outstanding years of 1990 or 1996.
The 2015 Premier Cru Vintage by Pascal Mazet was entirely matured in oak barrels and bottled after a year and a half of ageing on lees followed by 5 more years in the cellar.
This fruity champagne is a blend of Pinot Meunier (34%), Chardonnay (33%), and Pinot Noir (33%).

Pascal Mazert champagne was created in 1981 following the marriage of Catherine, daughter of a Champagne winegrower, to the son of a farmer from the Reims mountains, Pascal Mazet.
Together, they founded a small family winery in the small village of Chigny-les-Roses in the heart of the Reims mountains.
