The Cuvee Exception by Pascal Mazet is a fruity, black and white champagne that will seduce all wine lovers.

This cuvee is blended from Pinot Meunier (60%) 1er cru of Ludes and Pinot Noir (40%) exclusively from the family grand cru vineyard of Abonnay.

This extra brut champagne has a sugar content of 3g of sugar per liter and has been vinified for 2 years in oak barrels before being aged for another 4 years in the bottle.

The Cuvee Exception is made with 50% of wines from the year and 50% of wines from the previous harvest, which is also aged in oak barrels.

This fruity champagne offers a great balance between strength and freshness.

For which occasions should it be served?

We recommend to serve this champagne to your friends with an aperitif. It will please everyone thanks to its roundness and natural fruitiness.

Aspect: a beautiful yellow glow with a regular string of bubbles

Nose: black fruity notes (blackcurrant and blackberry)

Palate: a full-bodied, gourmet champagne

Pascal Mazet champagne in a few words

Pascal Mazert champagne was created in 1981 following the marriage of Catherine, daughter of a Champagne winegrower, to the son of a farmer from the Reims mountains, Pascal Mazet.

Together, they founded a small family winery in the small village of Chigny-les-Roses in the heart of the Reims mountains.
