The Originel Champagne by Pascal Mazet is a fresh and fruity organic champagne.
A true winegrower's champagne, the Cuvee Originel is blended from the three great champagne grape varieties, Chardonnay (12%), Pinot Noir (35%) and Pinot Meunier (20%), complemented by one of the varieties that "disappeared" from champagne and has become extremely rare, Pinot Blanc (33%).
All the Pinot Blanc used in the blending process comes from a single 60 year old Premier Cru vineyard plot, "Les pruches d'en haut".
This atypical blend gives this wine a floral and expressive nose which is typical of pinot blanc.
The wines of the Cuvee Originel are aged for 11 months in oak barrels for 6 years. This Premier Cru champagne has been dosed in Extra Brut (3 g/L).
For which occasions should it be served?
It is very good companion for your aperitifs. We also recommend this winegrower's champagne for your white meats, fish or seafood dishes.

Pascal Mazert champagne was created in 1981 following the marriage of Catherine, daughter of a Champagne winegrower, to the son of a farmer from the Reims mountains, Pascal Mazet.
Together, they founded a small family winery in the small village of Chigny-les-Roses in the heart of the Reims mountains.
