Today, this historic grape represents only a tiny part of the Champagne vineyard. 100% Petit Meslier cuvées are extremely rare, especially when presented with such a strong single-parcel identity.

Originating from the Premier Cru terroir of Villers-Allerand, on Thanetian marl and limestone soils, this Champagne above all seeks to express a singular identity, far from the more classic profiles of Chardonnay or Pinot Noir.

Nicolas Maillart’s work reinforces this philosophy: soil ploughing, respect for the vine’s natural rhythm, and practices inspired by organic and biodynamic methods whenever relevant.
