The Montchenot vintage by Nicolas Maillart is a precision champagne which puts freshness and minerality in the spotlight.

It is made from Pinot Noir (85%) and Pinot Meunier (15%) from the Premier Cru hamlet of Monchenot, which benefits from an exceptional location at the junction of the small and large Montagne de Reims. The mixture of these two geologies gives the wine its complexity.

This champagne is vinified in oak barrels and in vats, which gives it a great balance between greed and aromatic purity.

Its Brut Nature dosage (0 g/L) allows it to fully express the purity of an exceptional terroir.

This Blanc de Noirs champagne will seduce you with the amplitude of its apple, mineral and wild berry aromas. In the mouth, it reveals a frank attack and a remarkable amplitude.

A harmonious champagne from the Villers-Allerand vineyard, seductive with its spontaneity and minerality.

Aspect: delicate cordon of fine bubbles.

Nose: aromas of apple, minerals and wild berries.

Palate: clean attack and remarkable amplitude.

About Champagne Nicolas Maillart

This family-run business invites you to dive into the heart of the Premier and Grand Cru terroirs of the Montagne de Reims.

Nicolas Maillart is one of the most innovative winemakers of his generation. Since he took over the family business, he has never ceased to remodel the approach to his vineyard, whether it be to convert the vines to organic farming or to reintroduce Petit Meslier, an indigenous grape variety that has almost disappeared.
