The Mont Martin vintage signed Nicolas Maillart is a champagne of great aromatic expressiveness and freshness.
This Blanc de Noirs champagne is made from Pinot Meunier grapes from the plot known as "Les Monts Martin". This Premier Cru vineyard is located in the village of Villers-Allerand, on the Montagne de Reims.
This wine was vinified in oak barrels and then aged on lees for 8 months before being offered for tasting. Vinification in wood allows the Pinot Meunier, a grape variety that is both fruity and generous, to express all its power.
Nicolas Maillart has chosen not to add any sugar to this Brut Nature, thus preserving its freshness and natural explosiveness.
The result is a champagne with great character and mineral notes.
Aspect: sparkling pale yellow.
Nose: powerful and elegant.
Palate: very fresh attack quickly overtaken by an aromatic explosion.

This family-run business invites you to dive into the heart of the Premier and Grand Cru terroirs of the Montagne de Reims.
Nicolas Maillart is one of the most innovative winemakers of his generation. Since he took over the family business, he has never ceased to remodel the approach to his vineyard, whether it be to convert the vines to organic farming or to reintroduce Petit Meslier, an indigenous grape variety that has almost disappeared.
