This Blanc de Noirs champagne is crafted from Pinot Meunier grapes grown in the parcel known as Les Monts Martin. This Premier Cru vineyard is located in the village of Villers-Allerand, on the Montagne de Reims. The wine was vinified in oak barrels and aged on lees for eight months before being released for tasting. Barrel vinification allows Pinot Meunier-a fruity and generous grape variety-to fully express its power.

Nicolas Maillart has chosen not to add any sugar to this Extra Brut, preserving its natural freshness and explosive character.

Pinot Meunier, a grape variety long overlooked, is here elevated to its peak by a talented winemaker.
