The Astral 2014 cuvée by Erick Schreiber is an expressive and tasty champagne. Made from a blend of Pinot Noir (85,4%) and Chardonnay (14,6%), this 2014 vintage is the result of the selection of the best juices from these two grape varieties during the pressing.
The Astral cuvée, made without added sulphur and from Biodynamic vines, has benefited from 10 years of slow maturation in the cellar.
Its sugar content (3,15g/l) allows the wine to express its full potential. The Astral cuvée reveals aromas of dried fruit, ripe fig and hazelnut. On the palate, it has a very frank style, with candied accents.
This Erick Schreiber champagne is a true expression of the original grape purity. It will simply be excellent as an aperitif and can also accompany fish or white meats.
A true marvel of purity and verticality to be savoured now or kept for several years.
Aspect: limpid light gold.
Nose: filled with dried fruits, acidic tones, ripe figs, hazelnuts.
