A characterful rosé, crafted through gentle maceration, where the freshness of Pinot Noir meets the full intensity of red fruits.

The Initiale Rosé cuvée reflects the commitment and singular style of Erick Schreiber, a Côte des Bar winegrower and leading figure in biodynamic Champagne.
His goal: to craft living, expressive Champagnes that faithfully express their terroir.

Made exclusively from Pinot Noir grown on the Kimmeridgian soils of the Seine Valley, this rosé showcases all the richness of the region’s flagship grape.
To extract its colour and aromas, the winemaker chose the demanding rosé de saignée method, using perfectly controlled cold maceration.
This technique produces a Champagne with a deep colour, velvety texture, while preserving the finesse of the bubbles and the fresh identity of the vintage.

The result is a profound and joyful wine, with bold notes of morello cherry, raspberry, and redcurrant, supported by great structure and natural tension.
The Brut dosage (4.24 g/L) remains moderate to preserve the wine’s balance.

To fully reveal its aromatic palette, it is recommended to serve this cuvée at 8 to 10°C, then allow it to warm slightly in the glass.
Ideally, use a glass that is wide at the base and tapered at the top to concentrate the aromas while preserving the finesse of the bubbles.

Initiale Rosé is a Champagne for immediate enjoyment, perfect as an aperitif or paired with a meal: smoked salmon, langoustines, white meats, or even a lightly sweet dessert such as a red fruit tart.
