Crafted from a rare blend that includes Pinot Blanc alongside Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, this oak-aged, low-dosage Champagne reveals all the energy of its terroir.
With less than 35 mg/L of sulfites, this champagne is also suitable for those most sensitive to wine.
A true grower Champagne, designed for lovers of pure and vibrant Champagnes, to be enjoyed now or after a few years of cellaring.

A distinctive and refined Extra Brut, where the elegance of Pinot Blanc meets the intensity of Pinot Noir and the freshness of Chardonnay.

Essentiel Extra Brut embodies the uncompromising approach of Erick Schreiber, a pioneering biodynamic winegrower in Champagne, on the slopes of the Seine Valley (Côte des Bar).
On these Kimmeridgian marl soils, rich in limestone and marine fossils, he crafts living Champagnes that faithfully express the identity of their terroir.

The blend of this cuvée reflects this quest for uniqueness.
Pinot Noir provides structure, depth and aromatic richness to the wine.
Chardonnay brings brightness, tension and finesse.
Finally, Pinot Blanc (4.5%) - a rare grape in Champagne - adds a delicate floral touch, crystalline freshness, and an extra layer of subtlety on the palate.
The choice to include this forgotten grape, a witness to the original diversity of the Champagne vineyards, illustrates the winemaker’s desire to uphold a heritage-driven and artisanal approach to his craft.

39% reserve wines enhance the wine’s complexity and ensure great stylistic consistency.
Ageing in oak barrels (44.5%) imparts a silky texture, a broad and refined palate - worthy of a great Champagne wine.

The minimal dosage (1.22 g/L) reveals an Extra Brut of great precision, where every nuance is allowed to shine naturally.
The wine offers beautiful freshness, vibrant fruit and a long, persistent finish.

A refined aperitif Champagne, perfect for lovers of crisp, finely chiselled styles, yet also capable of elevating an entire meal: poultry, white meats, fish in sauce, or aged cheeses (Comté, Beaufort…).
