6 g/L - Brut

The Meunier, an emblematic grape variety of the Vallée de la Marne, fully expresses itself in the Grande Réserve by Champagne Veuve Olivier & Fils.

This generous and rich champagne combines fruity and spicy aromas, a result of stainless steel tank vinification that preserves the purity of the fruit.

Within the range, it offers a more opulent and complex alternative compared to the Carte d'Or, while remaining at a fair price.

The Meunier in all its splendour, for a rich and generous champagne.

If Carte d’Or expresses the generous character of Pinot Meunier, Grande Réserve showcases another facet of Veuve Olivier's expertise. More structured and complex, this cuvée is crafted to accompany a meal rather than being enjoyed solely as an aperitif.

The blend highlights Pinot Noir, complemented by Pinot Meunier and a touch of Chardonnay. This trio brings greater depth, dimension, and length on the palate, while maintaining the balance and freshness that define the estate's champagnes. True to Veuve Olivier's philosophy, this cuvée always prioritises the expression of the Trélou-sur-Marne terroir over an excessive pursuit of power.

The 2020 harvest, combined with extended ageing in the cellar, allows the wine to develop a fuller texture and a more complex aromatic palette. Notes of honey, candied fruits, and gentle spices enrich a generous body, while citrus freshness and a delicate mineral thread provide balance and precision.

Within the Veuve Olivier range, Grande Réserve represents a true step up. Deeper and more vinous, it appeals to those seeking a champagne capable of accompanying hearty dishes while retaining the elegance inherent to the house's style.

An ideal cuvée for white meats, veal in cream sauce, roasted poultry, or a platter of matured cheeses.

TRELOU SUR MARNE - Vallée de la Marne

Champagne Veuve Olivier & fils

In Trélou-sur-Marne, Sandrine Olivier Charpentier and her daughter Mathilde champion a champagne approach that is both precise and accessible.

On 18 hectares entirely centred around the village, they explore Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir without following trends: each cuvée finds its own balance between fruit, ageing, and dosage.
