Pinot Meunier at its most generous and authentic.

For over a century, Veuve Olivier has built its identity around a single village and a single grape variety. Carte d’Or is undoubtedly the cuvée that most faithfully embodies this philosophy.

Crafted exclusively from Pinot Meunier sourced from Trélou-sur-Marne, it highlights the emblematic grape of the Vallée de la Marne. In this terroir, Meunier reveals a particularly fruity, generous, and approachable character, while maintaining a delightful freshness. True to the house's spirit, this cuvée favours the expression of terroir over stylistic effects.

The clay-limestone terroir of Trélou-sur-Marne, combined with silty soils, provides a harmonious balance between structure and suppleness, enhancing the fruity and accessible nature of this champagne. It's no coincidence that this Blanc de Noirs captivates with its smooth texture and liveliness.

Within the Veuve Olivier range, Carte d’Or serves as the starting point for the entire collection. It lays the foundation for the house style: a sincere, indulgent champagne true to its origins. The cuvées Grande Réserve, Secret de Cave, or Secret Boisé will then push this identity towards greater complexity, but all rely on the same pursuit of balance and fidelity to the terroir of Trélou-sur-Marne.

An ideal cuvée for an aperitif, but also with poultry, lightly spiced dishes, or soft cheeses.

TRELOU SUR MARNE - Vallée de la Marne

Champagne Veuve Olivier & fils

In Trélou-sur-Marne, Sandrine Olivier Charpentier and her daughter Mathilde champion a champagne approach that is both precise and accessible.

On 18 hectares entirely centred around the village, they explore Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir without following trends: each cuvée finds its own balance between fruit, ageing, and dosage.
