This 2015 vintage signed Poirot Champagne is a champagne combining freshness, balance and great complexity.

This Blanc de Blancs is made exclusively from Chardonnay 1er Cru from the Côte des Blancs.

2015 proved to be a technical year in Champagne, with a very hot and dry summer which could have posed problems without late rains.

Unlike the rest of the Champagne region, the Côte des Blancs had a very favourable vintage for Chardonnay, which perfectly ripened. The year was so favourable that the 100% Chardonnay of the Côte are often enhanced by a vintage.

This is the choice made by Alain Poirot who offers you his interpretation of this superb 2015 vintage.

Malolactic fermentation was carried out by our winemaker to soften the natural acidity of this brut champagne (7 g/l).

The result is a slightly evolved champagne, with toasty and ripe fruit notes.

On the palate, it develops a beautiful balance and a complexity inherited from a long maturation. You will be surprised by the roundness of this champagne, typical of its terroir (south of the Côte des Blancs).

A superb 2015 vintage, ideal for those looking for a terroir-based champagne!

Aspect: dark yellow, fine string of bubbles.

Nose: slightly evolved and toasted with ripe fruit notes.

Palate: round, combining the freshness and the balance of a highly complex champagne.
