Fer de lance, the most appropriate name for this emblematic wine of the domaine.

This 100% Chardonnay blanc de blancs is produced from grapes grown throughout the domaine's vineyards, mainly in the Côte des Blancs, as well as in the Vallée de la Marne.

This cuvée is the result of a perpetual reserve, a technique borrowed from the Andalusian winegrowers, adding a part of the year's wine to a vat containing wine from previous years, for the Champagne version.

Hubert Lancelot aims at bringing the spirit of his elders to the young wine: the fusion of ardor and wisdom.

The wines malolactic fermentation also softens the natural tension of this champagne to create a beautiful structure.

This cuvée reveals typical Chardonnay aromas - citrus flavors and floral touches - carried by the mineral imprint of the terroir.

An atypical champagne, somewhere between ardor and concentration, which has won over the most demanding juries!

About champagne Lancelot & sons

Nestled on a hillside, the Avize willage could be considered one of Champagne's countless villages, whereas it is actually so much more. Not only is it an essential terroir for wine lovers, but also one of the 5 legendary villages to be classified Grand Cru in the Côte des Blancs, along with Oger, Cramant, Avize and Le Mesnil.

This is where Champagne Lancelot et Fils was established, a family-run business now headed by Hubert Lancelot, a warm-hearted winegrower with a strong personality.

The house's signature?

A perpetual quest for terroir, brilliantly represented by a range honoring plot-based champagnes and ratafia, a traditional sweet liqueur wine from Champagne."This is where Champagne Lancelot et Fils was established, a family-run business now headed by Hubert Lancelot, a warm-hearted winegrower with a strong personality.
