What more could chardonnay lovers ask for than a 100% Cramant?

Hubert Lancelot has created a parcel-based cuvée from Cramant, an emblematic village in the Côte des Blancs classified as a Grand Cru. This Chardonnay-legendary terroir produces sharp, mineral wines instantly recognizable.

With a plot of vines perfectly oriented to this village, the temptation was too great for Hubert Lancelot not to offer us a 100% Cramant chardonnay.

Faithful to his philosophy, our winemaker didn't allow for chance in creating this Champagne de terroir.

  • Only Chardonnay, to let the grapes express their full potential.
  • A single plot, to let the chalky subsoil reveal itself in the wine.
  • A vintage cuvée, for there's nothing like a selection from the best year to prove that a wine has its own character.
  • Traditional fermentation without malolactic fermentation, to preserve the legendary mineral acidity of the Côte des Blancs.
  • A light 2 g/l extra brut dosage, to add finesse to a wine eager to blossom.

A 75cl journey to the heart of the Côte des Blancs.

About champagne Lancelot & sons

Nestled on a hillside, the Avize willage could be considered one of Champagne's countless villages, whereas it is actually so much more. Not only is it an essential terroir for wine lovers, but also one of the 5 legendary villages to be classified Grand Cru in the Côte des Blancs, along with Oger, Cramant, Avize and Le Mesnil.

This is where Champagne Lancelot et Fils was established, a family-run business now headed by Hubert Lancelot, a warm-hearted winegrower with a strong personality.

The house's signature?

A perpetual quest for terroir, brilliantly represented by a range honoring plot-based champagnes and ratafia, a traditional sweet liqueur wine from Champagne."This is where Champagne Lancelot et Fils was established, a family-run business now headed by Hubert Lancelot, a warm-hearted winegrower with a strong personality.
