A vintage Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru, precise and expressive.

With this vintage 2018, Petitjean Pienne offers a more direct and faithful interpretation of its terroir, relying on a single harvest year.

Made exclusively from Grand Cru Chardonnay sourced from Cramant, Chouilly and Avize, this cuvée is a 100% vintage blend. This choice highlights the character of the year without adjustment through reserve wines.

The vintage 2018, marked by a contrasted year, produced wines that are both ripe and fresh. Here, it brings balance, aromatic intensity and beautiful tension.

Vinification in stainless steel tanks and lees aging preserve the purity of the fruit, while a minimum of 5 years aging on the lees adds complexity and refines the wine’s texture.

The Brut dosage supports the natural balance of the cuvée, maintaining tension while adding a slight roundness.

Within the range, this vintage stands out through its approach: more precise and more marked by the year than Cœur de Chardonnay or Réserve, yet less mature and less oak-driven than Prestige. It offers an interesting alternative for those seeking a Champagne that is both structured and readable.

An ideal Champagne from aperitif through to dining, especially with scallops or citrus-based dishes.

Cramant - Côte des Blancs

Champagne Petitjean Pienne

Petitjean-Pienne is one of those confidential estates that perfectly embodies the spirit of the Côte des Blancs. At the heart of Champagne’s great chalky terroirs, the family works with Chardonnay with precision and simplicity, far from stylistic effects.

In Cramant, Avize and Chouilly, Marie Petitjean crafts Blanc de Blancs that remain faithful to what makes these terroirs great: purity of fruit, freshness and that characteristic chalky minerality.

Straightforward, accessible and consistent champagnes that perfectly reflect our vision: offering authentic, readable wines deeply rooted in their terroir.
