Champagne Michel Furdyna - Prestige Brut 2012

Comment

The Prestige cuvée is an ephemeral champagne, only produced in the best years.

An exceptional nectar, it results from a blend of the best vintages of Pinot Noir (40%) and Chardonnay (60%).

This vintage is made from grapes of the 2012 harvest, an exceptional year that is often compared to great years such as 1990 or 1996.

This brut cuvée (8.5 g/l) was vinified in stainless steel tanks and benefited from malolactic fermentation to soften the natural acidity of this champagne and develop its body. It was aged for 60 months on slats before being offered to you for tasting.

It is a champagne that expresses itself on fresh fruits (green apple and lemon), vanilla and almond notes.

An exceptional vintage!

To be enjoyed as an aperitif with foie gras or with poultry in sauce.

Aspect: beautiful golden colour.

Nose: powerful and complex.

Palate: expressive with fresh fruit, vanilla, and almond notes.

Contains sulfites

Michel Furdyna Champagne in a few words

This estate is located in the south of the Champagne region, in an area renowned for the quality of its Pinot Noirs: the Côte des Bar.

This is where the Furdyna family produces exceptional champagnes, blended from grape varieties that have become extremely rare in Champagne, such as Pinot Blanc, Arbane, and Petit Meslier.

Michel Furdyna's champagnes are an invitation to rediscover champagne through atypical blends, each more seductive than the next!
