The la Désirée cuvée is a harmonious champagne with remarkably fine bubbles.
It is made from an atypical blend of Chardonnay (75%) and Pinot Blanc (25%), a particularly rare variety in Champagne.
This cuvée was vinified and aged in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation was triggered to soften the natural acidity of this Blanc de Blanc and to develop its body.
This is a brut champagne (8.5 g/l) with a fresh and thirst-quenching attack. It opens with a finish that is typical of a Blanc de Blancs, long and refreshing.
A charming champagne, it is ideal as an aperitif, served with fish, shellfish, and goes perfectly with Japanese cuisine.
Aspect: golden colour with blond highlights.
Nose: fine and flattering with delicate white flower notes.
Palate: fresh and thirst-quenching attack. The finish is fine, long and refreshing.
