La Secrète cuvée is an ephemeral champagne, made with the best grapes from Michel Furdyna's vineyards.
La Secrète is a rarity in Champagne, a cuvée made from a blend of 6 of the 7 authorised grape varieties. Among these, we find some of the grape varieties that have made the reputation of Champagne wines (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier), but also grape varieties that have almost disappeared and are now recognised for their unique aromas (Pinot Blanc, Arbane and Petit Meslier).
This brut cuvée (8 g/l) was vinified and aged in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation was triggered to soften the natural acidity of this champagne and develop its body. It was aged for 18 months on slats.
It is an elegant champagne with floral touches, whose grape varieties each bring their own personality.
Ideally served as an aperitif or with pan-fried scallops.
