A cuvée where the Grand Cru of Verzy and Verzenay is expressed with purity and depth.

Choosing a champagne is never trivial. At Champagne Terroir, we selected Montagne Nord Grand Cru by Hugues Godmé for its ability to embody the very essence of the Montagne de Reims Grands Crus.

This cuvée beautifully marries the structure of Pinot Noir with the finesse of Chardonnay, emblematic grape varieties from Verzy and Verzenay, two Grand Cru classified villages. Predominantly aged in oak barrels, the wine boasts a silky texture and remarkable depth, while six years of ageing on lees refines its bubbles and develops delicately brioche notes.

The choice of partial malolactic fermentation and a Brut Nature dosage preserves the purity and precision of the fruit, highlighting the richness and generosity that characterise this champagne. The biodynamic certification reflects the estate's commitment to respectful viticulture.

Within Hugues Godmé's range, Montagne Nord Grand Cru stands out for its authentic expression and complexity. While other cuvées from the estate explore specific blends or terroirs, this one offers a unique and accomplished interpretation of the Montagne de Reims Grands Crus.

An obvious choice for lovers of deep and vibrant champagnes, to be savoured during special moments.
