Despite only 10% of its vineyard being planted with Chardonnay, our winemaker boldly embraced the challenge of producing a Blanc de blancs. This decision is particularly notable given that the whites from the Marne Valley have historically been overshadowed by the famed chalky terroirs of the Côte des Blancs.

Thierry Fournier has ventured into this endeavor with Chardonnay from Nesle-le-Repons and Œuilly, sourced from a marly terroir that nurtures a Chardonnay rich in minerality and balance. The wine’s refined elegance is enhanced by ripe white fruit aromas and delicate pastry notes, a result of extensive aging in the cellar since 2012.
