A vibrant Blanc de Noirs, combining the power of Pinot Noir with the freshness of the Côte des Bar.

Mésopique: the name evokes twilight vision, when day transitions to night. This Mésopique Blanc de Noirs harvest 2018 from Champagne Poinsot Frères draws its inspiration from this concept: a black-skinned Pinot Noir transformed into a clear, white champagne, from light to shadow. At the heart of the Côte des Bar, the favoured land of Pinot Noir, it achieves an expression both powerful and fresh.

The year 2018, noted for its unprecedented earliness, allowed for the harvest of grapes with exceptional ripeness. This harvest produced wines that are fleshy and dense, a character fully embodied in this cuvée.

Vinified in stainless steel tanks, Mésopique preserves the purity of the fruit, offering floral notes and a fresh bouquet on the nose. On the palate, the champagne reveals a richness of yellow and red fruits such as mirabelle, cherry, and blueberry, carried by a lively effervescence.

The five years of ageing on lees refine the bubbles and add an extra dimension of complexity and texture to this cuvée.

Within the Poinsot Frères range, Mésopique stands out for its concentration and power, while remaining true to the characteristic harmony of the estate. An ambitious interpretation of Pinot Noir, perfect for sharing moments at aperitif or accompanying a variety of dishes such as charcuterie, quiche Lorraine, or even roast chicken.
