The Lancelot-Royer House was founded by Pierre Lancelot in 1960, from inherited vineyards. It is located in the prestigious village of Cramant, in the Côte des Blancs region. In 1996, the House and its 5 hectare estate were passed on to Pierre's daughter, Sylvie and his son-in-law, Michel Chauvet.
Taking advantage of the quality of the Côte des Blancs' soils, the Grand Cru classified vines of the House produce a fine and fruity grape. As a strong supporter of sustainable viticulture, the company voluntarily limits the productivity of its vines while providing them with certified organic inputs.
Bringing their touch of modernity to the estate, Sylvie and Michel continue to perpetuate Lancelot-Royer's know-how.
To achieve this, the Lancelot-Royer House is kept at a human scale, favoring the quality of champagne over quantity, producing no more than 40,000 bottles per year.
