You are not yet convinced about buying winegrower champagne. Here are 3 points that could help you decide.

1. Value for money

Winegrowers have known their vines often since they were very young, and it is this knowledge of their vines and their grapes that allows them to transform them into exceptional champagne.

The majority of winegrowers do not have the possibility of advertising. The best way to become known for them is through the quality of their champagnes and prices that are more attractive than those of the big houses.

Let's take the example of two exceptional champagnes having obtained the same rating in the famous Gault et Millau magazine (16/20) and presenting many similarities. Both are Blanc de Blancs champagnes classified Grand Cru and come from the village of Cramant.

But there is a big difference: the price!

The first is a winegrower's champagne, the Grand Cru P. Lancelot Royer Cuvée des Chevaliers, sold on Champagne Terroir at €33.90 including tax.

The second is a champagne from a large, world-famous house, whose name we cannot reveal, sold on average for €60 including tax.

2. Unique champagnes

Offering a winemaker's champagne to your guests means introducing them to a unique champagne that cannot be found in supermarkets, normally reserved for a handful of enthusiasts. Each winegrower's champagne is the fruit of its terroir, with truly unique know-how and flavor.

3. Conservation of heritage

The manufacturing secrets differ from one champagne to another, which gives each one a unique taste. Each champagne embodies a part of the Champagne heritage. Buying champagne from winegrowers means contributing to the preservation of this precious heritage.
