This Blanc de Noirs signed Leclerc Mondet is a round and fruity champagne.
It is made of grapes from a very old plot of Meunier. It is therefore a 100% Pinot Meunier champagne with very concentrated aromas.
This historic grape variety from the Marne Valley distinguishes itself by its assertive character as well as by its naturally golden and radiant colour, highlighted here by a transparent bottle.
Very rare in Champagne, this single-variety, plot-based cuvée (made from a single vine) was aged for 3 years in the cellar.
The result is a rich, round and fruity brut champagne (10 g/l). It expresses all the richness of its terroir and a typical freshness.
A true terroir champagne!
Excellent value for money, this champagne is ideal for your aperitif dinners. It will also accompany your poultry or white meat dinners.
Aspect: the notes present on the nose are complemented by greedy aromas of pastry
Nose: notes of yellow fruit (peaches and mirabelle plums).
Palate: golden yellow. Beautiful string of bubbles.
Cédric and Fabien, the Leclerc Mondet brothers, are located in the Marne Valley, west of Épernay.
There, they cultivate the three main Champagne grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Since 2017, all of their Chardonnays (⅓ of the estate) are certified organic. The remainder of the estate is, meanwhile, being converted.
The Leclerc Mondet family produces champagnes with very expressive and fruity notes. But the real calling card of this family-run house is those unique notes of honey and lime blossom that can only be found in their wines!
