This Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is a fine and delicately fruity champagne.
It is made exclusively from Grand Cru Chardonnays from the 2017 harvest.
This vintage proved to be very difficult in Champagne with severe frosts, followed by heavy rainfall spoiling the grapes. Despite these harsh conditions, the Chardonnays turned out to be surprisingly charming, making for a very fine vintage.
This is notably the case for this blanc de blancs de Louvois, signed Gaudriller.
It has been slowly aged in vats for 5 years in order to develop its aromas. Its low sugar content (2 g/l) makes it a tonic and smooth champagne. It develops subtle peach aromas and a length that opens up to citrus fruit aromas.
An essential for your aperitifs!
We recommend it served with scallops or seafood.
Aspect: golden yellow, revealing its string of fine bubbles.
Nose: fine and delicate notes of hawthorn.
Palate: tonic, smooth feeling, subtle peach and blackberry notes, leading to a citrusy finish.
Contains sulfites
