The Authentic'A Cuvee by Xavier ALEXANDRE Champagne is an extra-brut champagne, i.e. with less sugar (about 3g/l) than traditional brut champagnes.
This choice was made to highlight the delicate blend between the Pinot Meunier (60%) and Chardonnay (40%) that make up this Premier Cru champagne, aged for 6 years in the cellar.
What is a Premier Cru Champagne?
The official AOC Champagne label is given to champagnes made from grapes grown in the vineyards of a very limited number of villages. These villages have been selected since the 20th century for the quality of their terroirs, which meet the required conditions for the creation of exceptional champagne.
For what occasions?
The Authentic'A Cuvee should be served with seafood and shellfish dishes, or simply as an aperitif.
