Champagne Drouilly LV - Rosé de Saignée Œil de perdrix

Description
Tasting

This cuvee named Œil de Perdrix is particularly fruity. It offers a slightly sweet dosage that will delight you as an aperitif or served with a dessert of fresh fruit.

To make this cuvee, the Drouilly LV uses a winemaking technique called bleeding which consists in letting the clear juice macerate with the skins so that they give the wine the desired rosé color. This technique, rarely used in Champagne, is nevertheless a guarantee of quality.

This Rosé Champagne "Œil de Perdrix" Drouilly LV has an Extra-Dry dosage (14g Sugar/Litre), so it is slightly sweeter than a Champagne Brut, which makes it very pleasant.

100% Pinot Noir from the 2018 harvest, the Drouilly LV champagnes age a minimum of 4 years on lees before disgorging.

An astonishing winegrowers’ rosé, both fruity and gourmet.

About the Drouilly LV champagne.

Established for 4 generations in the village of Noé-les-Mallets, the Drouilly LV House has been put into the care of Vincent Drouilly. Located in the Côte des Bar, the southernmost region of the AOC Champagne, the commune of Noé-les-Mallets is famous for its bled rosé. The 9 hectares of vines that make up the estate allow the Drouilly House to produce 20,000 bottles per year.

Concerned about respecting the environment and the quality of its wines, the Drouilly family practices sustainable viticulture.

Traditionally harvested, the grapes, once pressed, are matured in barrels for a minimum ageing period of four years.

Renowned for its amazing Angeline and Œil de Perdrix cuvees, Drouilly LV rightly deserves to be on the best tables.
