This box exists because it can no longer exist. Eight copies, not one more: this is what we have left from Famille Moussé.

In the Vallée de la Marne, Famille Moussé has worked Meunier on green clay soils for twelve generations. Cédric Moussé has made it one of the most sought-after estates in Champagne: pure, taut wines, made with as little intervention as possible, and a care for the environment that goes as far as the lightweight bottle and the paper foil.

On 26 July 2026, a solar panel caught fire on the winery roof. Within hours, the building, the press, the tanks and a large part of the stock went up in smoke. The 2026 harvest was brought in with equipment lent by friends, but the cellar will not be rebuilt for two to three years. In other words: the Moussé bottles that have already left the estate are, for a long time, almost the only ones anyone will get to drink.

We therefore benefit from an exceptional allocation to let you enjoy some of the last bottles signed Cédric Moussé for several years to come.

Eugène Rosé is the house's blended rosé: 75% Meunier, 25% Pinot Noir, built on the perpetual reserve started in 2003, the one that gives the Eugène cuvées their depth.

L'Orage was born of another ordeal: in 2021, frost and then mildew had taken almost everything, and eleven fellow growers brought some of their Chardonnay to Cédric Moussé so he could still make wine. This Blanc de Blancs bears the name of that year. Putting it in this box today makes sense.
