Founded in the 1960s by Raymond Sourdet, the House used to sell their entire harvest to the Veuve Clicquot Champagne. It was in 1980 that Patrick and Nadine Sourdet decided to make their own cuvee for the first time.
At first, they gradually limited the sale of their grapes. Ten years later, all resales definitively ceased. Since then, the Sourdet family has used all their grapes to make their Champagne. They have also equipped their House with a traditional wine press and a vat room.
Cultivating a love for the Champagne vineyard and its traditions, the House was able to modernize itself under the impetus of their daughter Ludivine and her husband Damien.
Today, they are proud to produce their own champagne. The Sourdet Diot Champagne has joined the Independent Winegrowers label, a group of producers that guarantees quality wine to their customers.
