An ambitious vintage cuvée, combining precision and great elegance.

With the Juliette 2020 cuvée, Champagne Olivier Rousseaux offers a more personal and refined interpretation of its style, driven by a search for balance between precision and complexity.

The blend is based on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, combining structure, depth and freshness. The 2020 vintage, marked by a warm and early year, produces ripe and concentrated wines, with richness and softer acidity. Here, it brings fullness, indulgence and great harmony.

The particularity of this cuvée lies in its aging: around 60% of the wines are aged in oak barrels. This work adds an extra dimension, with more texture, a slight woody touch and greater aromatic complexity, while remaining perfectly integrated.

After fermentation in oak and 10 months of aging before bottling, the wine benefits from a long 36-month aging on the lees, refining the bubbles and structuring the whole.

The Extra Brut dosage supports this precision, allowing the wine to express itself without artifice.

Within the range, Juliette 2020 clearly stands out as a tasting cuvée: more technical, more structured and more ambitious, aimed at enthusiasts seeking complex and nuanced Champagnes.

VERZENAY - Montagne de Reims

Champagne Olivier Rousseaux

Behind the name Olivier Rousseaux, it is today Juliette who imprints the style of the estate, with a precise and thoughtful approach to Verzenay.

Her journey between Champagne, Rioja and Canada is felt in the wines: a more modern, more assertive interpretation in Grand Cru from the north of the Montagne de Reims, where tension and freshness take precedence over the demonstration of power.

The estate stands out for a coherent and readable range, controlled dosages and a real gastronomic orientation. Straight, structured champagnes, designed for the table, which move away from more consensual profiles.
