This rosé ratafia signed Gaston Collard is a liquor wine with aromas of caramel and roasting.
A true rarity in Champagne, this rosé ratafia is made from Pinot Noirs.
The juice obtained from these grapes after pressing is mutated with fine Champagne (60%) to give birth to this ratafia (18%).
It is then aged in oak barrels for 36 months. This long stay in barrels allows the wine to concentrate and acquire a superb structure.
This ratafia was neither filtered nor fined. It therefore has a 100% natural colour that will surprise you with its radiance.
The result is a rosé ratafia of rare complexity. It will surprise you from the very first tasting with its roasted and caramel aromas that blend elegantly with notes of ripe and stewed fruit.
This liquor wine should be served chilled (between 9 and 11°C) and is perfect for the aperitif or for the pleasure of tasting.
We recommend it as an accompaniment to chocolate, caramel and/or nut-based sweets.
This extremely rare bottle of ratafia (50 cl) is only produced in 100 bottles each year.
Aspect: amber.
Nose: notes of ripe red fruit.
Palate: aromas of stewed fruit. The length opens with magnificent notes of roasting and caramelisation.
Contains sulfites
