General terms and conditions of sale of the Champagne Terroir website
Article 1: Acceptance by the customer of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
All orders placed on the Champagne Terroir website are governed by the following general terms and conditions of sale. These general conditions are available to the customer on all the footers of the site, and must be fully known and accepted by the customer before any payment. In exchange for this acceptance from the customer, the Champagne Terroir site undertakes to respect its commitments under these general terms and conditions of sale.

Article 3 : Sale of Alcohol
Champagne Terroir respecting article L. 3342-1 of the Public Health Code, prohibits the sale of alcohol to minors under the age of eighteen (18) years old on its website. Any customer buying products on Champagne Terroir undertakes to be of legal age. Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health, consume in moderation. The consumption of alcoholic beverages during pregnancy, even in small quantities, can have serious consequences on the child's health.
Article 4 : Champagne Terroir prices
Champagne Terroir displays prices in Euros, all taxes included (including VAT of the country of destination), excluding shipping costs, unless otherwise indicated.
The price indicated in the order confirmation by Champagne Terroir is the final price and includes all taxes. This price includes the price of the products, handling, packaging and transport costs.
Champagne Terroir reserves the right to modify the price of its products at any time. The price indicated on a validated order remains final.
Prices for export shipments outside the European Union (Switzerland and United Kingdom) do not include possible duties and taxes which may be requested by the carrier before delivery.
Article 5 : Legal Warranties
Champagne Terroir, in compliance with article 1641 of the French Civil Code, is bound by the warranty for hidden defects in the sold item that make it unfit for the use for which it is intended, or that reduce its use in a way that the buyer would not have acquired it, or would have given it a lower price, if they had known them.
The customer who has purchased on the Champagne Terroir website will have 3 months after delivery to report a hidden defect by email ( contact@champagne-terroir.fr) or by mail.
After the repatriation of the allegedly defective product, it will be subject to inspection. If it is proven that it really contains a hidden defect of origin prior to its shipment, the Champagne Terroir site will refund in full the product or products for which the defect are noticed.
Champagne Terroir will only take into account products that have not been consumed or opened.
Article 6 : Order
When placing an order and in the event of an error in the information given by the customer (addresses, name, etc.), Champagne Terroir shall not be held liable in the event of non-delivery.
Please note that our products are only valid within the limits of available stocks.
Article 7 : Payment of the order
Champagne Terroir offers you several types of secure payment in order to best meet your requests.
By credit card: Cyberplus Payment
For payments by Mastercard/Visa card, Champagne Terroir offers Cyberplus Payment, a solution proposed by Banque Populaire.
By Paypal
Champagne Terroir also offers you the option to pay via Paypal. Your payment will be totally secured by Paypal.
By Check (Longer)
We also offer you the possibility to pay by check. To do so, you will have to send your check by mail for the correct amount of your order in the name of CHAMPAGNE TERROIR SARL.

Please note, however, that we will only send the order once we receive confirmation of the transfer from our bank.
Payment will be processed at the time of the order for all payment solutions we offer.
Article 8 : Cancellation of the order
Any cancellation of an order must be made before the order is shipped. This cancellation must be requested by writing an e-mail at Champagne-Terroir customer service (contact@champagne-terroir.fr).
A cancellation of the order after the shipment is possible but the return costs will be shouldered by the customer.
Article 9 : Shipping terms on Champagne Terroir
Unless otherwise specified, shipping costs are shouldered by the customer.
Champagne Terroir packages its products in boxes specially designed for postal shipments of 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 12 bottles.
Champagne Terroir delivers in Metropolitan France. Delivery will be subject to a specific quotation for any delivery outside of Metropolitan France.
The products will be shipped after payment and validation by Champagne Terroir. Orders are generally processed between 12 and 24 hours after payment.
Depending on the carrier, items are sent out between 1 and 7 working days after the order is placed. This period is indicated when the customer chooses the carrier.
In the event of an information input error by the customer, disabling Champagne Terroir to delivery the order, the package will be returned to us and a reshipment at the customer's expense will be then be possible.
In the event of the customer's absence, a period will be granted to him to recover the package in a place defined by the carrier. In case of non-receipt of the package by the customer during this period, the package will be automatically returned to us and a reshipment will be possible at the expense of the customer.
Free shipping offered by Champagne Terroir on an order does not exclude possible shipping costs in the event of reshipment of the order.
In the event of a problem with the package (opened package, deterioration, etc.) during its delivery, the customer must refuse it and indicate on the delivery note the observed damages or deficiencies. Champagne Terroir will contact the customer to best resolve this situation.
Article 10 : In the event of disputes
The photos and presentations of the products on the Champagne Terroir website are not contractual and are for information purposes only.
In the event of a dispute, the customer is offered to reach an amicable agreement by contacting the customer service of the Champagne Terroir website, by e-mail contact@champagne-terroir.fr . Complaints or disputes will carefully be handled by the Champagne Terroir team
In the absence of an amicable agreement, all disputes arising from an order or from the interpretation of the general terms and conditions of sale shall fall within the jurisdiction of the commercial courts.
Article 11 : Right of withdrawal
Sales on the Champagne Terroir site being distance selling, the customer has a right of withdrawal for a period of 14 days upon receipt of the product. The customer can return the product to the following address: 8 Résidence des Acacias, 91590 CERNY.
You will be fully refunded by bank transfer or by the payment solution you prefer.
The return costs will exclusively be shouldered by the customer.
