Champagne Gaston Collard - Brut Grand Cru

Champagne Gaston Collard - Lucie Grand Cru

This Grand Cru de Bouzy is a fresh and richly flavoured champagne.

This cuvée is made from a blend of Chardonnay (30%) and Pinot Noir (70%).

It was vinified 50% in barrels (for the structure provided by the wood) and 50% in vats (to favour freshness).

This micro-production (800 bottles) has benefited from an exceptional 6 years of cellar ageing.

The result is a champagne in the pure style of the Gaston Collard house. It develops a very nice freshness, carried by its extra-brut sugar content (5 g/l), as well as a great aromatic length inherited from the Pinot Noir.

A purely gastronomic champagne!

We recommend it as an aperitif, but also to accompany tapas, seafood or grilled fish.

Aspect: intense yellow with a fine string of bubbles.

Nose: a woody note brought by the reserve wine.

Palate: good freshness in the mouth. A nice aromatic length brought by the Pinot Noir.
