The Fil d'Ariane cuvée signed Mathieu Nicolas is a fresh and brioche-like champagne.
This Extra-Brut champagne (5,5 g/l) is blended from Chardonnay (61%), Pinot Noir (31%) and Pinot Meunier (8%).
This champagne is a generous wine with character, marked by notes of praline and fresh honey.
On the palate, it has an unexpected freshness and is punctuated by aromas of brioche. The dominant Chardonnay and its fine sparkle give it an extraordinary length.
The champagne for summer aperitifs!
Aspect: pale yellow.
Nose: lots of character on the praline and fresh honey. The creamy expression of the bouquet is accompanied by toasted and lemony aromas.
Palate: the fine effervescence accentuates the invigorating minty freshness. The mouth bursts with freshness. Notes of brioche soften the palate, which in the end is assailed by lemony flavors. The dominant Chardonnay allows for extraordinary length.

This family estate has been cultivating vines for generations at the heart of the Marne Valley.
It was in 2017, and after several years of honing their skills throughout the Champagne region, that Mathieu and Nicolas Moussé decided to return to the family estate.
Together, they decided to create a new range of champagnes reflecting their vision, both modern and respectful of their terroir.
Authentic products of their terroir, Mathieu Nicolas champagnes are wines of great quality and naturally marked by the fruity aromas characteristic of the Marne Valley.
